Michael is my hero and cousin. His inspiration has influenced a good part of my life from before his joining the Marines until today. Michael and many of his closest friends from his teenage years had a bond around the words in the Carousel song "You'll Never Walk Alone". I well up every time I have heard or sung the song myself.
