TRIBUTES

Honor your hero with thoughts, memories, images and stories.

  • Even though I never met him face to face, I feel I know Uncle Glancy from the many stories and photos shared by our family. The oldest of eight children, he holds a special place in his brothers & sisters hearts. How Grandma must've grieved over the death of her first-born. Even though he was not here in body, he was with her always in spirit -- as shown in the photo pin she wore so often. He will never be forgotten as long as there is a Hogue-Lucas descendant.

  • The first of many in our family to enlist in our country's wars. He, along with his great nephew, Adam, gave the ultimate sacrifice. GOD BLESS THEM AND OUR COUNTRY!
