Honor your hero with thoughts, memories, images and stories.
It has been 54 years since my bother, Bennie Lee Dexter, was taken as a POW on May 9, 1966 is Vietnam. Bennie is still one of the many unaccounted for. I think of him and miss him every day. You are and will always be in my "heart".
To his sister: I have laid a wreath on your brother's grave site for the past 3 years during Wreaths Across America Ceremony. I am always deeply touched by his loss. I was born 3 weeks after him and I have the same middle name as his younger brother. I went into the service a month after Bennie and completed my service the year he was declared MIA. I grieve with you.
